Missouri Breastaraunt Says Waitress in Racist Snapchat Video No Longer Fit to Be Objectified for Less Than Minimum Wage

Remember how right after Barack Obama was elected president, certain right-wing pundits started shouting about how this proves racism is over and the real racists are people saying that maybe police officers shouldn’t murder black guys who they think were selling loose cigarettes? If you believed them, it will come as quite a shock to you to learn that black people still face racism in the United States despite the fact that some black people are rich. I know, it’s shocking.

Speaking of shocking, or not shocking if you’ve paid any attention at all to what’s been happening in the United States since roughly 1493, here’s a video of some dummies from a Confederate state yelling the n-word while they’re driving around.

Of course, people were angry about this and identified the young women in the video and promptly got her fired from her job as a waitress at some knock-off Hooters.

I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t really care if my waitress is racist. Or the kid bagging my groceries. Or my mechanic. Maybe I just relate because people are always trying to get me fired for impugning the honor of Tomi Lahren, a terrible person who is in no way ever going to touch the tiny penises of the angry incels who show up in the comment section every time I take a swipe at her.

But she’s a waitress. Who cares if she’s a terrible person? Is the goal of social justice to end the systemic oppression of entire classes of people or to get waitresses fired? I’m not sure what this accomplishes or how it makes anyone feel better about themselves.

According to local Missouri paper The Riverfront Times, the woman, Tabitha Duncan, had recently joined the Air Force which issued a statement as well.

We have been made aware of a video online of an alleged reserve Airman who made racially insensitive comments. We are looking into the matter and we appreciate this being brought to our attention. The U.S. Air Force values diversity and inclusion; our Airmen come together to produce an incredible team that can accomplish any mission and overcome any challenge. We believe that our greatest asset is our diverse, innovative and technically-savvy workforce. Our Airmen come from all backgrounds and remarks such as these do not fall in line with our culture. We take incidents like this very seriously and action will be taken upon further investigation as necessary.

Okay, there are jobs that being a big racist should disqualify you from. Police officer, human resources officer, judge and anything in the military fall well within the scope of jobs where expressing racist beliefs, even in private, should absolutely disqualify you.

I do have some sad news for you, though. Sending this dumbass death threats isn’t going to accomplish anything. She’s a nobody, and all you’re going to do if you keep attacking her is get her a job on Fox News.
