Fat Joe didn’t live up to his name at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
Page Six reports that the rapper left the steakhouse when a member of his entourage was wearing an outfit labeled “incompliant” with the restaurant’s dress code. The entourage member reportedly had on track pants.
Having been to Ruth’s Chris multiple times — on someone else’s dime, I’m way too poor to afford it myself — I can say that their dress code sucks, but it’s written in stone.
Their website states: “Thank you for not wearing: Gym wear or sweat pants, tank tops, clothing with offensive graphics or language, midriff-baring outfits, or exposed undergarments.” Poor Instagram models. They would never been allowed inside the establishment.
When you know the money is about to be good, sometimes you gotta make an exception.
Some socialist named Loren Ridinger tried to #BanRuthsChris because fake outrage is all the real outrage these days.
She said those things without realizing it was a member of Joe’s entourage that caused them to leave. Not Joe himself. Like Joe is leaving a steakhouse peacefully if they try to kick him out over wearing a t-shirt.
Joe and his crew were offered a private room, but decided to go to McDonald’s instead.
