Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Still Have Twitter Fingers

The beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B isn’t close to being over.

When we last left this saga, Nicki was dragging Cardi for building her career off “sympathy and payola.” For those that don’t know what “payola” is, because I sure as hell didn’t before this whole thing started, it’s when someone in the industry exchanges radio play for favors…such as sex. Nicki is definitely implying Cardi slept with DJs for them to play her record.

Cardi B shot back with straight FACTZ about how she got to where she’s at.

“Only 200K in my bank account” like she was flat broke. Give me “only 200K” in my bank account. Hell, give me “only 20K” and I’ll be satisfied.

The whole thing started because Nicki Minaj is petty and won’t let another female rapper eat. It escalated at New York Fashion Week when Cardi threw a shoe at Nicki after claiming Nicki said something about her kid, which Nicki denied.

Whatever happened to settling things on wax? Now everyone has a podcast and social media. Rap has gone soft. Either let them fight or give me some high quality diss tracks. These are the top two female rappers in the world. This should be on a Pac-Biggie level of excellence.
