Did ‘The Simpsons’ Predict Sharon Stone’s Unwanted Breast Implants?

The Simpsons has been on television for over 30 years, and for almost half of those years it was good. One of the last good episodes of The Simpsons is season 14’s Large Marge, an episode with the ridiculous premise of Marge getting unwanted breast implants after her chart gets mixed up with Apu’s wife Manjula.

Oddly, this has turned out to be yet another example of The Simpsons predicting real-life events. Kind of.

Sharon Stone had some large, benign tumors removed and afterward she needed some reconstructive surgery, including breast implants.

People reports that Stone wrote in her upcoming memoir that the doctor just decided to give her bigger boobs without discussing it with her.

“When I was unbandaged, I discovered that I had a full cup-size bigger breasts, ones that he said ‘go better with your hip size’ ” Stone said. “He had changed my body without my knowledge or consent.”

That’s actually pretty horrific if you think about it. I don’t understand how her doctor could ever come to the conclusion that this was an okay thing to do.

Sure, it was a funny episode of The Simpsons, but so was the one where Homer tried to jump over Springfield Gorge and fell in, and then rolled out of the ambulance and back down into the gorge. Less funny if it would happen to a real person.
