Rashida Jones Wants John Travolta to Come Out of the Closet

In an interview with Spinning Platers to promote Celeste and Jesse Forever, Rashida Jones tells John Travolta to come out of the closet already because it’ll be good for everyone. While on the topic of Frank Ocean coming out, Rashida said a big star needs to come out like Ricky Martin did.

Jones: It’s there. It’s real and it’s there. We just missed him the other day in DC while we were there for press. I just love him. He is so great.

McCormack: There needs to be, like, a professional athlete that comes out.

Jones: And a movie star! It’s time.

McCormack: Yeah, like a big one.

Jones: A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.

By now I assume everyone thinks John Travolta is gay. At least 90% of Hollywood does and 100% of masseurs. Him coming out would be the least surprising news. There John will be announcing on some talk show that he’s gay and then pausing, waiting for the gasps but all he hears are people saying in hushed whispers, “And…?” and “I f**king knew it!”
