54-year-old Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile, The Whole Nine Yards) died this morning in his hospital room in LA. Sources say his wife, Omarosa Manigault, stepped out for a second and when she came back, he had passed.
A rep for Duncan tells TMZ that he never fully recovered from the heart attack he had on July 13. His rep continues, ”[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
Before Duncan became an actor, he worked as a bodyguard for Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, and Notorious B.I.G. which I had no idea was true.
No word on what exactly he died from but I’m 99% sure it wasn’t embarrassment because that doesn’t seem like something that could kill you despite my dates insisting it’s going to happen whenever we’re out in public.
