Unless You’re Martin Scorsese, Kevin Spacey Would Like You to ‘F*ck Off’

Kevin Spacey won’t be playing bit parts in your film just so you can use his name to raise the profile of your movie. He’s not your dancing monkey. So unless you’re Martin Scorsese offering a lead role, go fly a kite. Spacey, who’s been living in London for the past decade running a theater company, tells The Hollywood Reporter:

At 54, Spacey is in his prime, eagerly pursuing new obsessions and exalting in his contradictory status in Hollywood as a big-name star who operates like an eccentric outsider. “Unless it’s Martin Scorsese, and it’s a really significant role, f— off,” he says. “I’m not playing someone’s brother. I’m not playing the station manager. I’m not playing the FCC chairman.”

Though that doesn’t explain his role in Horrible Bosses but whatever. This is the guy who played Keyser Soze in The Usual Suspects and Frank Underwood in House of Cards. He can do and say whatever he wants. Run around naked and set a bum on fire? You’re the man! Drug me and take me to his house where he sits next to me all night whispering sweet nothings into my ear while petting my head? Hey, I got to meet freaking Kevin Spacey!
