Mo’Nique’s hair dresser, who was flying coach while Mo’Nique was up in first class, stashed a hair dryer in a first class bin during a United Airlines flight. The flight attendant somehow got into an argument with Mo’Nique because she didn’t think the hair dryer was hers. The confrontation ended with Mo’Nique being escorted off because she was delaying everyone’s flight. Now she’s claiming United Airlines was being racist against black people and is calling for a boycott of United Airlines.
“I felt like I was being treated like an animal,” said the 38-year-old celebrity, whose seldom-used full name is Mo’Nique Imes-Hicks. “This happens to black people all the time, and they don’t have a voice. I have a voice.”
I’d be more inclined to believe this racism deal if the story involved the flight attendant tapping a sign that read “No black people” everytime Mo’Nique started talking. I can only imagine how agonizing a McDonald’s drive-thru must be for her. When they tell her there’s no such thing as a super super size…racists. When they accidentally give her 11 instead of 12 McChickens. Racists. When she realizes that the mayonnaise is white. AHH, RACISTS!
