UK fashion designer Alexander McQueen found dead

Alexander McQueen, a 40-year-old UK fashion designer, was found dead of an apparent suicide in his London apartment yesterday. Not sure who this is because I don’t follow fashion, but he was named British designer of the year four times which I’m assured is a big deal. Reports indicate his mother died only a few days ago on Feb. 3. [BBC, Daily Mail]
