James Blunt had that famous song in 2009, “You’re Beautiful.” He’s gotten a lot of mileage out of it and it’s culminated into a marriage to Sofia Wellesley, granddaughter of the Duke of Wellington. The two were married in a private ceremony in September and then in a really glitzy ceremony in Majorca over the weekend.
The couple got engaged in December 2013 after dating for a year. Wellesley graduated from the prestigious University of Edinburgh and is currently a legal consultant for a London based firm. Her father is Lord John Henry Wellesley and she’s the granddaughter of the Duke of Wellington.
And that’s that. Don’t expect a James Blunt update for another 5 years.
