Beyoncé’s Video for ‘Formation’ Is Not a Tidal Exclusive

A day before her Super Bowl appearance, Beyoncé surprised everyone on Saturday by releasing a video for her latest single, Formation. The video made its way around the world in about 5 minutes so you’ve probably watched the entire thing already.

Let’s talk about the best line from the song though. “When he f-ck me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster.” Red Lobster? The Olive Garden for seafood? Wow, celebrities. They’re just like us.

The video also premiered on Tidal which no one in the world uses unless you’re related to one of the owners. Tidal, of course, is the reportedly struggling music subscription service that Jay-Z co-owns. There are a few reports that paint a less bleak picture for Tidal, but head over to their landing page and check out all the featured artists and hot tracks. You’ll find Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce, Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna, oh, and don’t forget, Rihanna.

Ya Tidal is struggling to the point where they can donate 1.5 million to Blacklivesmatter.
