‘Creed’ Star Tessa Thompson to Join ‘Thor 3’ Cast

Yo, how much hotter can the cast of this movie even get?

We’ve already got Chris Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Alexander, and Tom Hiddleston in one movie. And now we’ve got Tessa Thompson who has apparently scored a key role in Thor: Ragnarok.

The third installment of the god of thunder and his wacky adventures is set to start filming in June and will be directed by Taika Waititi.

There’s no specifics out on Thompson’s role, but people are thinking she might be replacing Nathalie Portman as Thor’s squeeze thing, Jane Foster. Even if she’s not, I’m kind of glad Natalie Portman isn’t coming back because she and Chris Hemsworth had the onscreen chemistry of Donald and Ivanka Trump.

Tessa Thompson’s other credits include Dear White People and Selma. She’s also the lead in HBO’s heavily buzzed Westworld series. Whatever her deal in Thor: Ragnarok is, we’re probably in for a good time.
