Hayden Panettiere has checked herself into a treatment facility for the second time since the birth of her daughter, Kaya, in late 2014. Panettiere originally sought treatment in October 2015 which was followed by an elaborate press tour of postpartum depression destigmatization. It was good. It was great. I feel like we all got a lot off our chests during that time and then we moved on.
Well Panettiere hasn’t. And I get it. We’re all depressed. We’re all dying. We’re all fucking miserable. Some of us need more help than others. No shame in that, but when your child is pushing two, how much longer do you get to say you’re a sufferer of postpartum depression? How does she not know that life just caught up with her? How does she not know she’s just seeing the world as it actually is now? The girl next door finally knows what it’s like to be sad.
And she took to Twitter to air her feelings like the rest of us.

To that I say, good for her.
