Jared Leto Was Not Happy With What Happened to ‘Suicide Squad’

Yes, we’re still talking about Suicide Squad and the subject isn’t Margot Robbie’s ass sticking out of her hotpants like I had hoped. This time it’s Jared Leto at Camp Mars, a summer camp for fans of his band 30 Seconds to Mars (let that sink in), saying he was tricked into doing the film.

Dressed as a hippie commune director, Leto started by stating that, yes, there was a stipulation in his contract that banned him from rock climbing and other risky activities. But Leto said, “F**k ’em”. What a rebel!

According to the same fan who recorded the video, Leto also said he was very disappointed about the theatrical cut of the movie. This despite having yet to see the movie.

He was very honest about the film this weekend; his disappointment in what he’s learned of the theatrical cut (he’s still not seen the film); feeling sort of tricked into being a part of something that had been pitched to him very differently; thinking it would’ve been more artistic than what it became; feeling overwhelmed by the hate regarding the look and choices.

As news got around, the fan deleted the post and said his comments were taken out of context.

Geez, calm down, dude. Jared Leto doesn’t need you to be his white knight. He’s not gonna blow you.
