Mcdonald’s Taking Cues from Cartoons Now

A new episode of Rick and Morty premiered on April Fool’s Day. During the episode, Rick sings the praises of McDonald’s Szechuan McNugget sauce.

“I’m driven by finding that McNugget sauce. I want that ‘Mulan’ McNugget Sauce. … That’s my series arc, Morty. If it takes nine seasons, I want that McNugget Szechuan sauce.”

The sauce came out for a limited time in 1998 as part of a Mulan movie promtion. However, fans started a Change.org petition to bring it back.

McDonald’s wants to stay hip, so the corporate chef has said he’ll see what he can do.

Not sure what this means. Did the chef make a wanking motion when he tweeted this?

It’s gonna be hilarious if the sauce gets released and it ends up disgusting. Then fans will tweet their hate back at McDonald’s.
