Finn And Poe Aren’t Gonna Do It In ‘Last Jedi,’ But Maybe Later

As The Blemish’s intolerable angry gay correspondent, it is my job to be upset about this, I guess.

A bunch of people on Tumblr want Finn and Poe to bone, but according to the director, an epic romance just isn’t on the table for Star Wars: The Last Jedi in any capacity. Not a gay one. Not a straight one. Not any kinda one.

Vanity Fair in an interview:

“[There will be] no one-to-one equivalent of the Han-to-Leia, burning, unrequited love. In our story, that’s not a centerpiece.”

Of course, the people behind the film are saying gay s**t is on the table maybe. They have no intention of doing it because it will offend many straights in the international market, but know that if they outright can the idea, the gays will have a riot. Showrunners and mediamakers have been baiting us gays like this forever, and will keep doing so. Even the president of Lucasfilm got in on some grade A queerbaiting. Kathleen Kennedy told a Spanish entertainment site:

“We’ve talked about it, but I think you’re not going to see it in The Last Jedi.”

I’ll bet you they gonna keep talking about it, tho.
