Floyd Mayweather Tells Lies About a Fight That Will Never Happen

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor rumors have died down a bit over the past few months, and that just doesn’t sit will with Mayweather. So, Floyd decided to bring it back up by selling fans on why McGregor may win. Even though he won’t. Because this fight is never happening.

“I’ve been off for a couple years and I’m 40 years old now. So, I’m a lot older and he’s still in his 20s and I’m in my 40s now. So, I mean, that could play a major key, we don’t know. And he’s a heavy hitter…Every time he goes out there and defeats fighters, he’s standing up. He’s in a boxing position and he’s beating fighters. Does he have a good chance of upsetting Floyd Mayweather? I can’t say, but anything can happen in the sport of boxing.”

Those are the points everyone is making when trying to sell McGregor’s chances, so Floyd isn’t saying anything new. Mayweather is in sell mode as they still try to put this fight together. If it ever comes together (it won’t), Mayweather will bury McGregor the way he’s buried all of his opponents. And McGregor will hold his own on the mic. But this isn’t a competitive fight and both guys know it.

Can’t blame Floyd for wanting one more huge payday. And the easiest payday of his career at that.
