Kara McCullough Wins Miss USA Despite Not Being from a State

The District of Columbia isn’t even a state in the United States, but it’s still the federal district with the hottest and smartest women in America.

For the second year in a row, the District of Columbia houses Miss USA. This year, Kara McCullough took home the crown. She’s 25, she’s a nuclear scientist, and she sleeps with her crown.

That doesn’t seem very safe.

During the Q&A portion of the Miss USA Pageant, McCullough was asked about health care. She said that only people with jobs should have health care, which is incorrect. But then backed her statement by saying that America should create more jobs, which is correct.

She also had this to say about feminism:

“I don’t want to call myself a feminist…Women, we are just as equal as men, especially in the workplace.”

So….you are a feminist?

I’m convinced that Miss D.C. won just so people could say, “See, not everything that comes out of D.C. is terrible.”

Anyway, enjoy some hot pictures of Miss United Federal District and her full Miss USA 2017 performance.
