Halloween Animated Special with Michael Jackson Having Fun With Kids is Coming. This Is a Real Thing

In an animated show that certainly won’t end well, Michael Jackson’s estate and CBS are going to create a Halloween special. Here’s the plot:

Titled Michael Jackson’s Halloween, the hour-long telecast will follow millennials Vincent (MacGyver star Lucas Till) and Victoria (The Flash film’s Kiersey Clemons), who meet “accidentally” on Halloween night and find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel located at 777 Jackson Street called This Place Hotel. Once inside, Vincent and Victoria go an unexpected, magical adventure of personal discovery, culminating in a spectacular dance finale featuring an animated Jackson.

Let’s review: Kids are going to wander into Michael Jackson’s mansion on Halloween for an unexpected and magical adventure.

Did no one think this through?

That’s a serious question. Did no one think to say, “Hey, ummm, maybe we shouldn’t have kids unknowingly enter Michael Jackson’s mansion because of, uhhhh, that whole child molestation thing? Just. Like. Maybe we should try something else?”

Tune in next year when CBS gets together with Cosby Productions for It’s A Cosby Christmas, an animated series where women drink a special liquid that takes them on a magical adventure that they have no recollection of when they wake up.
