Tyler, the Creator Is Either Gay or Providing More Shock Lyrics

Tyler, the Creator is best known for his horrorcore rap style where he talks in slow tones, uses a ton of metaphors, and loves shock value.

So, it’s a bit of a surprise that a guy who has said the word f**got a million times might be gay.

The speculation picked up a lot of steam recently as Tyler named his latest album Scum F**k Flower Boy. See what I mean about metaphors and shock value? I wouldn’t assume that Tyler is gay based on the album title. The album title falls in line with what I expect from a Tyler, the Creator album title.

Some of the lyrics are bit more straight forward like these from “I Ain’t Got Time!”:

“Next line will have ’em like ‘Whoa’ / I been kissing white boys since 2004,”

But did he like it?

The track “Garden Shed” has a ton of references to hiding his relationship, staying in the closet, and protecting his reputation.

Garden shed, garden shed, garden shed, garden shed
For the garden
That is where I was hidin’
That is what love I was I in
Ain’t no reason to pretend
Garden shed, garden shed, garden shed
Garden shed for the garçons
Them feelings I was guardin’
Heavy on my mind

If Tyler is gay, that’s bad news for people like me who just don’t like his music. No longer are we haters, we’re now homophobic. In fairness, Tyler has been homophobic for years now based on every single track he’s ever made.
