Jason Priestley Allegedly Punched Harvey Weinstein at 1995 Golden Globes Party

I think Jason Priestley did what everyone wants to do now, but did it 20 years ago.

Priestley claims that at a 1995 Golden Globes party put on by Miramax, Weinstein kicked him out. On the way to leaving, Weinstein supposedly grabbed him for some unknown reason.

…‘95 Golden Globes… at the Miramax Party… Harvey told me I had to leave… I was leaving when he grabbed me by the arm and said “ what are you doing?” I said “ you told me leave, I’m leaving”

“I didn’t say you had to leave” he replied. “You just told me to leave… right over there” I tell him once again. Getting heated now. He then grabs me tighter and says “why don’t we go outside and talk about this”. That was all I needed to hear,…

Weinstein probably forgot that he only grabbed women, not guys. That’s when Priestley went off on him.

“I’m not going anywhere with you” I said as I pushed him back and punched him with a right hand to his face. Suddenly, there were security guards pulling us apart and I was escorted out of the party…

Priestley wrote all this on Twitter. He didn’t say why Weinstein kicked him out though. Maybe Priestley knew something about Weinstein’s rapey ways. If only everyone could go back in time, get kicked out of a Miramax party and punch Weinstein in the face.
