It’s tough times for Heather Locklear.
The actress was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and assault of a peace officer. Police were called to Locklear’s home at 9:42 p.m. on Sunday night, responding to a domestic incident involving Locklear and her boyfriend.
Sheriff Sgt. Eric Buschow said, “She was extremely hostile and uncooperative and at one point became combative with the deputies.”
They probably told her that Courtney Thorne-Smith was the real star of Melrose Place.
More officers were called when Locklear tried to fight the initial officer and resisted arrest. Either Locklear can throw hands better than anyone could have imagined or this officer is weak as hell.
At 10:27 p.m., she was arrested on suspicion of one felony count of domestic battery. She was also hit with suspicion of three misdemeanor counts of battery of a peace officer. After complaining about injuries, she was checked out at a local medical facility. She ended up getting released on Monday morning on $20,000 bail.
Locklear has an unfortunate history of bad behavior. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in 2008. Earlier that year, a 911 call was made on suspicion that she was trying to commit suicide. Locklear ended up spending four weeks in a mental rehab facility for depression and anxiety. Another 911 call was made in 2012 by her sister, who believed Locklear was taking too many prescription pills.
Hopefully, Locklear gets the help she needs so she can return to cashing those Melrose Place re-run checks.
