Watch Former NFL Player Greg Hardy Smash His Opponent

There’s nothing Dana White and the UFC love more than famous athletes from other sports. Whether it’s Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, or James Toney, if you made your name elsewhere, the UFC will exploit your popularity for their own gain.

The latest example is Greg Hardy, a former NFL defensive end who was banned from the league following a domestic violence incident. Tired of beating up women for free, Hardy has moved on to getting paid for his anger.

And the look on Dana White’s face tells you all you need to know.

That’s a look that says, “I’m about to make millions by putting this guy on PPV.”

Don’t be shocked. The UFC is desperate for anyone who can sell a pay-per-view right now and Hardy brings with him a curiosity factor, good or bad. And remember, Conor McGregor committed “the most disgusting act in MMA history” when he tried to start a gang war by attack a bus. His punishment? A fight that will pay him $50 million in two months.

Get used to Greg Hardy. He’s an athletic freak who hits hard. In the heavyweight division, speed and power kills. Dana knows he has something with Hardy and isn’t going to throw him in there with a top guy just yet. But every top heavyweight is on the wrong side of 30 and has been punched in the face a lot during their career. Hardy just turned 30 and played one of the safer positions in football. Plus, he had a helmet on.

I’m willing to bet he’ll be challenging for the heavyweight title within three years.

Lesnar is the bear.
Hardy is the rabbit that Lesnar will wipe his ass with.
