Jacking Off in Front of Unsuspecting Women Cost Louis C.K. $35 Million

You know, if you’re really into having people watch you jack off, you can probably pay a prostitute a fairly small amount of money to do it. Believe me, it’s going to be a highlight of her day. She can catch up on work e-mails while you do your thing. It’ll cost you maybe $100 or so. You can probably actually find someone who wants to watch you jack off if you use Tinder. But if you do it front of women who don’t want to watch you jack off but don’t say anything because you’re either their boss or your agent threatened to end their career, it’ll cost you $35 million dollars. Just ask Louis C.K.

Louis C.K.’s comeback is in full swing, and comedy blog Laughspin had some details. He’s branched out from the Comedy Cellar and has done sets at Caroline’s and The West Side Comedy Club. More importantly, he started talking about the whole jacking off thing now.

Something shifted Wednesday night. “He was much more confident,” says the source. Castillo says he opened with, “It’s been a weird year” (understatement). He continued talking about how he’s been to “Hell and back”—joking that while he was in Hell he met Hitler. Multiple comedians hanging out that night say he seemed more authentic and real. From the source, his Wednesday set addressed getting booed in the streets and how everyone hates him. “I lost $35 million in an hour.” This audience apparently loved it way more than the unrealistically guarded set just a few days prior—though the comics hanging out were laughing harder than the audience, says the source.

Louis also apparently did much better with this set then he did with the previous set where he avoided the topic. He also reportedly felt more comfortable talking about it than not, which seems weird but also seems very much in line with Louis.

I’ve been telling you that Louis’s comeback is going to happen whenever he wants it to. People like Louis. He’s a great comic and he has a huge following, and very little of that following has changed their opinion on him. So while Laughspin pointed out that comedy booker Candi Clare said he wouldn’t book Louis if it was up to her, plenty of clubs are happy to have him, and it sounds like he’s still as funny as ever.
