Drake Settles Lawsuit With Layla Lace Over Her False Rape Allegations

Even in the #metoo era where some people are very insistent we believe everyone who makes a rape allegation, no one believed Layla Lace’s allegations that Drake raped her. For starters, it’s entirely impossible to imagine Drake overpowering another human being. Another giveaway is she had previously said she was pregnant with Drake’s baby despite refusing a paternity test and, oh yeah, not being pregnant. That’s not a good look. It’s a better look than being pregnant, but still.

Drake released text messages the two exchanged as part of the lawsuit, and it’s no wonder that Drake is always texting Millie Bobby Brown, he’s clearly also a teenage girl.

According to Page Six, Drake and Lace reached a settlement out of court.

“The filing made by Drake against Layla Lace has been resolved, with Layla avoiding going to trial by agreeing to a stipulated judgment which prohibits her from repeating past statements she made against Drake,” his lawyer told Page Six on Friday.

“Drake and his team are satisfied with this outcome and while Drake appreciates the support he has received, he asks that his fans and the media allow both parties to move on with their lives,” his lawyer concluded.

Oops, sorry Drake’s lawyer. Lace tried to get money out of Drake for her fake baby and then tried to get hush money for her rape story even after he was cleared by the police.
