Bill Cosby Says He’s a ‘Political Prisoner,’ Like Ghandi If Ghandi Did a Bunch of Rapes

Bill Cosby has become contemplative in prison, reflecting on his life and the things he’s done. Cosby says he’s sorry for the pain he’s caused and he wants to take the time he’s in prison to learn and grow and wants to spend his last years finding a way to make up for the bad things he’s done.

Nah, I’m just fucking with you, he said he’s done nothing wrong and compared himself to Martin Luther King, Jr. Here’s part of the statement Cosby gave a local Philadelphia station, via CNN:

“My political beliefs, my actions of trying to humanize all races, genders and religions landed me in this place surrounded by barb wire fencing, a room made of steel and iron,” the comedian said in a statement released through his press spokesman, Andrew Wyatt.
Cosby, 81, also noted that his cell at SCI Phoenix, the prison outside Philadelphia where he is serving his sentence, “resembles the quarters of some of the Greatest Political Prisoners — Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Randal Robinson, and Dr. Benjamin Chavis.”
I’m pretty sure it was the raping that landed you in that place, and the cell is literally the only thing you have in common with any of those guys.
“When I visit him it’s nothing sad about it,” Wyatt said. “He’s not sad, he’s not remorseful because he did nothing wrong.”
“The sheer volume of people coming forward making an accusation doesn’t mean that it’s true. And what America has said is that women don’t lie. Women do lie,” Wyatt added.
This is true, women do lie. Like, the other day, I turned on my PS4 to play some Kingdom Hearts and I was in Halloween Town even though I know I was in Monstro when I last played, and I asked my partner if she had been playing on my save and she said no, but where did Monstro go if that’s true, huh? But they’re not lying about being raped by Bill Cosby. We have a little saying around these parts, “innocent until proven guilty.” He was proven guilty. It does not get more clear-cut than that.
He believes it was the political aspirations of a district attorney and a judge that landed him in prison, according to the statement.
I believe that Bill Cosby is in prison because of his political beliefs. People just couldn’t handle his message that black men should pull up their pants and that comedians shouldn’t swear. That’s what all those women he raped were really mad about.
