Baz Luhrmann is directing the upcoming Elvis Presley biopic starring Austin Butler and Lana Del Rey is begging to play Priscilla Presley. She’s been telling her agent to annoy Baz for months now in hopes of getting cast. Solely based on the fact they look similar.

Baz is reportedly hesitant to cast Del Rey, because, well, the closest she’s ever come to acting is looking like an emotionless doll in her music videos. And it seems she knows this because “she’s been driving her friend Kristen Stewart crazy, badgering her for method acting tips at every opportunity.” Which would help her out a lot.
