Travis Barker was hospitalized yesterday for unknown reasons. Until now. According to TMZ, a colonoscopy procedure caused pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas.
Pancreatitis causes abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. When they occur after colonoscopies, it’s caused by the stent used in the procedure irritating the tail end of the pancreas.
Meaning Barker’s insides got tickled a bit too much.
Barker tweeted early yesterday “God save me”.
It wasn’t known if this was related to the pain or a Machine Gun Kelly song of the same title (both co-produced and co-written by Barker).
Paparazzi showed Barker being wheeled in a gurney to the hospital. Kourtney Kardashian was by his side.
It seemed serious when Alabama Barker, Barker’s daughter, Instagrammed herself holding Travis’ hand while in the hospital and asking for prayers.

She later deleted the post.
Recovery from pancreatitis takes about a week. Four out of five cases aren’t fatal. That’s the good news.
One in five cases are severe. When they get severe, chances are high they become fatal. Ooof.
So, Barker’s not out of the woods yet. He’s at Cedars-Sinai hospital, hopefully he’s getting good care.
Now, when will Kris Jenner start filming his recovery for The Kardashians?
