Miley Cyrus is controversial
As Miley Cyrus’ hormones begin to rage, handlers are having a harder time keeping the 15-year-old Disney star virginal. Last week, pictures of Miley flashing her bra caused a minor stir. Over the weekend, pictures of a “topless” Miley shot by famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz , for Vanity Fair caused even more controversy. Disney says Annie manipulated Miley into taking the pictures.
A Disney spokeswoman, Patti McTeague, faulted Vanity Fair for the photo. “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines,” she said.
The article, written by Bruce Handy, seems to support that claim, quoting Ms. Cyrus as saying, “Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought it was really cool. That’s what she wanted me to do, and you can’t say no to Annie.” She also said of the photo, “I think it’s really artsy. It wasn’t in a skanky way.”
Miley at the time thought it was artistic, but with the urging of Disney, now sort of agrees they aren’t. A prepared statement released Sunday read:
“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
Vanity Fair stands by the pictures and says Miley’s parents were on set the whole day previewing the pictures as they were shot.
“Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.”
Ooooo, Miley showed her back and has a sheet over her chest giving the illusion that she’s topless. Sorry to ruin the magic, but she’s wearing clothes under there. This is about as controversial as Britney eating a Jolly Rancher she found stuck to the carpet or me ordering a burrito.

The problem is, you’ve got willing girls (defined here as any female aged less than 18), flashing all parts of their bodies to the public in pictures and while out and about.
Then the viewers become instant pedophiles.
You know Annie Lebowitz was plunging her free hand deep into her gooey cunt the whole time she was taking those pictures.
The “topless” photo doesn’t bother me, it’s the photo she’s in with her father, who looks like her man. If parents are outraged, they should focus their attentions on Billy Ray instead of Vanity Fair. He’s the irresponsible one. It’s gonna be a race to see who achieves Trainwreck status first, this little hot-ass (by hot-ass, I mean flashing bras and whatnot), or Ali Lohan.
Let me break it down. Its a simple picture. I dont see what the fuss is about. But poor Miley is about to be pushed in the same trap as Britney. Her whole business is based on her being a ‘good girl’. What happens when she comes of age and gets sick of this image, she is going to rebel and go all out wild. Then years from now, people are gonna see her at the club and be like, OMG Miley wheres your panties????
