I earlier linked to a story about someone accusing Cee Lo green of sexually assaulting her but I didn’t think anything of it because there wasn’t much in the way of proof. There still isn’t but now TMZ has a few more details and it’s gotten way more interesting.
The woman accusing Cee Lo of sexual battery claims he slipped her ecstasy and date raped her and that she and the LAPD have him on tape admitting to it.
According to the woman, she and Cee Lo went to a restaurant in downtown LA in July. They had a drink and she remembered nothing afterward. When she came to, she was lying naked in bed and Cee Lo was in the room.
She went to the cops right away and LAPD had her make a recorded “pretext call” where they had her bait Cee Lo into admitting what he did.
Sources say Cee Lo can be heard on tape repeatedly apologizing and referencing MDMA but doesn’t specifically say he put it in her drink. He thought the drug would help them have fun together.
However, sources on Cee Lo’s side poke a few holes in the claim. First, if they had Cee Lo on tape admitting to it, he would have already been arrested. Also, ecstasy isn’t like GHB and doesn’t affect memory in that way.
Sources also say the woman went to Cee Lo asking for money to make the story go away and that she only went to the cops after Cee Lo’s manager refused to pay.
On the other side, sources say the woman’s lawyer only called Cee Lo’s manager to see if he had any stds.
Sheesh. This reminds me of my last date. What some women will go through to deny they willingly slept with you. Amirite?
