Justin Bieber Paid His Respects to Japan’s War Criminals

Justin Bieber posted the above to his Instagram yesterday. It was a picture of him stopping by Tokyo’s Yasukuni Shrine which honors Japan’s fallen during World War II. Some of these were war criminals who committed heinous acts across Asia and the Pacific. An ignorant Bieber tweeted, “Thank you for your blessings.”

Citizens of China asked him to take down the picture out of respect because, you know, it’s sort of like visiting a church in Germany honoring soldiers of the Third Reich. Bieber did and apologized.

“While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine. I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan.”

If Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who visited the shrine last December, said this, I’d think he was just covering his ass. This is Bieber though. He’s a gigantic idiot. If a shaman told him smashing eggs on his head would give him super powers, he’d probably do it.
