Last week, everyone watched Nick Minaj’s lyric video for her single “Only”. Then they got really confused about the Nazi imagery in it. What was Minaj trying to say? Should we be worried about Nicki Minaj’s new gestapo?
Well, Nicki wants you to know she’s not a neo-Nazi and that she’s really sorry about the video. In a few tweets, she passes the buck to A. Loucas, her best friend and videographer who just happens to be Jewish. Ah, yes. The good old, “But my best friend is Jewish and he liked it,” excuse. She says the video was inspired by Metalocalypse and Sin City. Except, more oppressive, apparently.
I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art.

The artist who made the lyric video for “Only” was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called "Metalocalypse" & Sin City.

Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish
