Suge Knight Arrested for Murder

Murder was the case they gave him. Death Row founder Suge Knight was arrested early Friday morning for murder in a fatal hit and run.

Knight was on set filming Straight Outta Compton with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre when, surprise, he got into a fight. A tiff. Perhaps someone told him one too many ‘yo mama’ jokes. TMZ has more:

Suge Knight got into a fight on the set of a film project in Compton, ran over a man who later died, and then fled the scene.

Multiple witnesses tell us a movie shoot — involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre — was going down when Suge pulled up in his car. We’re told security told Suge to leave and that’s when trouble began.

A fight broke out between Suge and 2 men. Suge got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse … and ran over a man who suffered fatal injuries.

Strange how trouble always finds Knight. And don’t call this an accident says the L.A. Sherriff’s department.

Late Thursday, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. John Corina told reporters that the crash occurred around 3 p.m. PST in the parking lot of the restaurant in the Los Angeles-area city of Compton and then the driver took off.

“Looks like he drove backwards and struck the victims and drove forwards and struck them again,” Corina said.

“The people we talked to say it looked like it was an intentional act,” he said.

The Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that two people were in the parking lot when the red pick-up arrived and its driver became involved in an argument with them

“The argument escalated and the driver backed up striking one of the victims. The driver then drove forward driving over both victims,” the sheriff’s statement said. “Various witnesses described the driver as being Marion Suge Knight.”

The empty truck was found late Thursday night in a West Los Angeles parking lot, Corina said.

Just imagining Knight rolling back and forth over the victim, singing “And-a one, and-a two..” Knight’s friends claim Knight’s the real victim.

Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ … the 2 men who fought Suge were the instigators. Our sources say Suge was scared because he’s in frail health — in addition to being shot 6 times last summer, he recently almost died from a blood clot.
