Josh Duggar — ‘I Have Been the Biggest Hypocrite Ever’

In the hugest understatement ever, Josh Duggar called himself a hypocrite. And the sky is blue. Hackers recently leaked personal info of Ashley Madison member onlines. Not specific names, but enough info such as credit card info and e-mails. What else do you need really… Gawker put 2 and 2 together and outed Duggar as a someone seeking a discreet encounter. Discreet meaning Duggar’s wife shall never learn about this. They posted a ton of circumstantial evidence, but no smoking gun. Today though, Josh Duggar came out and admitted to joining the site.

I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have been unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

“I’m so sorry, Anna…But really, I need to apologize to this dude from 2000 years ago. Sorry bro!”

This time, Duggar’s statement didn’t mention god at all. No declarations that god will forgive him or show him mercy. Even Josh knows by now that  god has his limits. Ironic that he put this post on his own Facebook:

Do right and risk the consequences. – Sam Houston

Duggar continues,

I have brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions.

He forgot to add that part about molesting his sisters. He should apologize for that every time he issues one of these statements.

I deeply regret all the hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

*Jerk off motion* These statements mean nothing. They’re similar to when a star athlete apologizes for drunk driving, or getting into a late night fight, or doing a million other shitty things that they ultimately regret. Actions that their PR people later script an apology for and have their clients read on TV. Empty, meaningless, hollow. Much like a reality star’s soul.

He “humbly” asks for forgiveness this time. When he apologized for molesting his sisters last time, he “sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life.” STFU with the apologies.

Perhaps Josh should spend less time asking for forgiveness and more time not molesting family members and seeking out affairs.
