Chris Hemsworth Takes Being an Unaware Hollywood Actor to New Levels With Prison Visit
If you’re darker than weak tea or poor, cops can frame you for crimes, murder you, and lock you up because they feel like it.
If you’re a rich, white actor guy, you get to voluntarily stroll through prisons and interview prisoners to help you prepare for your film roles.
Man, if Chris Hemsworth’s biceps weren’t bigger than me, I’d fight the s**t out of him. What also boggles my mind, is that he thought he could blend in and no one would notice fucking Thor walking around. What, like somebody convicted of a crime has never seen a movie in their entire life? The actor told Graham Norton he thought,
“They don’t get ‘Thor’ in here, they’re not going to watch movies. I don’t know, I’d never been to prison. So, I assumed that.”
Yeah, of course you haven’t. Nobody who has ever been to prison exists outside of it. Obviously. Dick. Of course, not a single one of them would have seen any of the biggest box offices successes of the last 20 years. Prisoners only get bread and water and are kept in castle cellars and were never children, right?
“The moment I started walking through the cells … I just started getting heckled.”
Good. That’s the s**t I like to hear.
“It’s like…’Thor’s here, man. …Thor! Thor! Where’s your hammer man?’ And I’m trying to blend in and ‘research,’ and I’m just getting heckled left and right.”

WTF did I just read?
White guilt at its finest. I am latino, black, and caucasian mixed, and depending on dress, if i have shaved, i will look all of the above, but more often than not middle eastern. Yet, I have never been put in jail, prison, etc for being brown, not hassled about it. And I live in the deep south. Is he not allowed to study for prison roles? I can verify that not only do TV shows and movies get show in correctional facilities, but at least one I know of allows and encourages their officers to bring DVD’s to show on the weekends… and more often than not, they are new release, still-in-theater pirated copies. :D
Why is the article’s author so contemptuous of Chris Hemsworth?
So he shows up assuming nobody cares/knows who he is, and he gets pilloried by this idiot for NOT being an egotistical asshole? Another idiot with enough free time to blog is bitching about privilege, while remaining completely blind to her own.
So, what are we doing here? A hateful piece on a well respected and admired actor for what? To get as many hits to your blog as you can? In order for that to happen you would first have to have some talent. You don’t. Give it up and go serve coffee or something. Writing is not what you do well.
