It’s About Time For A ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Movie

When you’re the Kardashians, you’re rich. When you’re rich, everyone wants to find a way to make you more money. So now that we’re 12 seasons deep in my favorite show on television right now, the next logical step is to take this thing to the big screen. The Sun reports that they were offered $100 million just to do it. Ian Halperin, Kardashian biographer, is here to divulge the dirty details. He reveals:

The studio’s research showed the Kardashians could become the highest TV show-turned-movie ever.

To put that in perspective, the Kardashian demographic is very similar to that of HBO’s cult favorite Sex in the City. The Carrie Bradshaw narrated series ran for 6-full length seasons and we were still heartbroken at the end. Years and years later, we got our happy ending for Carrie and Mr. Big.

The first Sex and the City movie pulled in close to $500million worldwide and a Kardashian film would do almost double.

If you’re thinking $100 million sounds kind of low for the small tribe, it is. I mean, 1 with 8 zeros attached is more money that will ever be offered to me, but if this movie is going to gross in the 9 figures, you bet that family deserves more.

The exec stressed that part of the deal would include a nine-figure upfront offer plus a backend of the film’s earnings.

That sounds a little better but I just wanna know what the cast is going to look like. I mean obviously we’ll have Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie… but what about Caitlyn? What about Rob? If we have Rob, where’s Chyna? Will we have some Tyga confessionals? Does Kris’s beau, Corey Gamble get any shout outs? Kourtney’s still-part-0f-the-family baby daddy, Scott Disick? Rumored bae Justin Bieber? Will we see Lamar? Will there be a lot more Kanye? I mean how much money are these execs trying to make? How big is the scope?

One thing that we don’t have to worry about is quality. I mean this is a thing that’s supposed to be bad. I don’t think you can mess that up, fingers crossed.

This is also bound to breed some serious drama for the klan as they battle out who gets the most money.
