Chris Hemsworth Is About to Make the Next ‘Star Trek’ the Hottest Film of Whatever Year It Comes Out

I’m starting a movement in which no movie can star Chris Pine unless it also stars Chris Hemsworth and vice versa. I am a staunch proponent of this movement and I will do everything in my power to make it a universal reality. But I guess we gotta start small. First up it’s got to be the Star Trek universe. Chris Hemsworth once made his appearance as Captain Kirk’s father, but has since found himself playing the ‘guy everyone makes fun of’ in Ghostbusters and just generally walking around the world as the hunk that he is.

But good news comes in that there will be a fourth installation in the Star Trek franchise and it will absolutely star Chris Hemsworth. The Wrap reports:

In the next installment, Chris Pine‘s Captain Kirk will cross paths with a man he never had a chance to meet, but whose legacy has haunted him since the day he was born: his father, George Kirk. Hemsworth played the elder Kirk in the opening minutes of 2009’s “Star Trek,” but died shortly after being introduced.

So we didn’t get enough. The people demand more! Not much is known yet about how the film will play out, but we do have our key players. Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne will write this s**t. Bad Robot Productions brings J.J. Abrams and Lindsey Weber on as key producers. Pine and Zachary Quinto are here to stay.

Another franchise that cannot be stopped. Another franchise out here making some money. Star Trek Beyond is out this Friday. Give it your money.
