Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s Divorce Finalized and They’re Both Single and Ready to Date

I really thought Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were going to make things work after I realized they were married and he had broken up with Jennifer Lopez. That actually happened when I was watching an episode of South Park where Butters didn’t realize Affleck and Lopez had broken up. True story. But they couldn’t make it work, presumably because their mothers didn’t have the same first name, and their divorce was recently finalized.

People reported that Garner is starting to date now that her divorce has been finalized.

“Jen has been wanting to move on and now when the divorce is finalized, she finally can,” a source says.

“She has had no choice but to be patient since Ben needed to finish his rehab treatment. But she was ready to sign the papers,” the insider says.

“Jen doesn’t want to be single for the rest of her life, so she is open to dating,” the insider adds. “She has been on dates, but it seems she isn’t serious about a guy. As always, she is mostly focused on her kids and her job.”

People also reported that Affleck split with Shauna Sexton to focus on rehab and will just have to find a different model half his age to f**k for a few months until he gets bored once he finishes rehab.

“There was nothing to split from as it has been casual,” a friend of Affleck’s tells PEOPLE.

It’s so rough being Ben Affleck. He had to go to adult day camp and have his kids stay with his wife while he bangs his way through the Victoria’s Secret catalogue when he’s doing his actual job which is pretending to be Batman.
