Billie Eilish Was So Obsessed With Justin Bieber Her Parents Almost Sent Her to a Shrink

I always thought Billie Eilish was kind of weird.  And not only because she dresses like Doug in that ‘Bangin’ on a Trash Can’ music video.

She just gives off a weird vibe to me.

Her parents must have thought she was pretty weird, too, because she was so obsessed with Justin Bieber that they almost sent her to therapy for it, according to the New York Post.

Maggie talked about how, in 2012, her daughter would play the Canadian pop star’s hit “As Long As You Love Me” and sob. She recalled “driving to the dance studio with Billie, playing this song, sobbing, and then driving back and sobbing.”

The 61-year-old mother continued, “And the video, and Billie talking about it, and being excited it was coming out, and just crying and crying . . . I just want to say, we did consider taking you to therapy because you were in so much pain over Justin Bieber.”

Man, I can’t relate to that at all. It’s certainly not the sort of thing that happened to me watching How I Met Your Mother, like that episode where Ted finds Victoria and shows up in her bakery. You were crying when she said “oh thank god,” and ran into his arms.

Eilish did eventually get over it, though.

“There was a period where I cried every single day of my life, when I was like 13, 14, 15,” the Grammy-winning musician said. “Every single day I cried.”

“And 17, 18 I cried barely at all,” she continued. “I’m proud to say I barely cry anymore and it’s one thing I’ve overcome.”

I’m not going to make fun of her for crying, crying is healthy. Like when Ted proposes to Tracy and she keeps saying yes before he gets an actual chance to ask her to marry him. Or I guess when listening to Justin Bieber if you’re a teenage girl.
