Beyonce has comfortably settled into a sort of Grrrl Power niche and is back with another female empowerment song. This one is called “Girls (Who Run the World)”. I can only imagine she was being facetious when she wrote this. The only thing girls can run is an oven. Amirite? High five! Listen to it below.
The entire song is “Girls. We run this motha. Girls. Who run the world” repeated over and over for five minutes. Meh. Though it’s funny when she starts singing about working a 9 to 5. The only thing Beyonce knows about 9 to 5 is that it’s the perfect time to sunbathe on a yacht.
Is this song a joke? Please tell me that they aren’t really thinking of releasing this.
