Miley Cyrus Desecrated the Mexican Flag With the Twerking

An international incident was triggered on Tuesday when Miley Cyrus, performing in Monterrey, Mexico on Mexican Independence Day, desecrated the flag of Mexico.

Mexican officials were super pissed that dancers slapped her prosthetic ass with the flag while she twerked. Apparently that’s not the proper use of a Mexican flag? The congress of the state of Nuevo Leon wants to prosecute her. Desecration carries a $1,200 fine or a 36 hour jail sentence.
