People Want to Talk About Adele’s Body Again

Thank God Adele is back on the scene, but unfortunately the media wants to talk about her weight rather than her incredible voice and new album.

What Adele probably means by “body issues”: I’m a normal person who sometimes struggles with my appearance because of the way the media has been portraying women my entire life.

She touched on “body problems” in a 2011 interview in Rolling Stone (four year ago) and now that she’s out promoting her new album 25 people are going to be asking her about how fat she is again! Because THAT’S definitely relevant.

So on Monday, she had a SiriusXM Town Hall where she “opened up,”

“I do have body image problems, but I don’t let them rule my life at all. And there’s bigger issues going on in the world than how I feel about myself and stuff like that.”

Right?
