Ryn Weaver Claims Katy Perry Bullied Her at Coachella

Earlier this Wednesday morning, singer-songwriter Ryn Weaver remembered to use twitter for its intended purpose–the very public shade throwing of one celebrity at another.

After Katy Perry tweeted a Hill & Bill inspired cartoon gif, continuing to show her support for the female Clinton, Weaver wasn’t having it. In a series of since-deleted tweets, Weaver rants:

In another since deleted tweet, she also linked to a video titled “Hillary Clinton Lying for 13 Minutes Straight.”

In addition to targeting Perry’s political views and arguing that Perry only supports Clinton for the money, Weaver also claimed that Perry actually bullied her while they were both performing at Coachella. The summary of the tweets pieced together is as follows:

She came up to me and my friends.. Knowing I played.. After we were friends.. Then stared at me the whole time she spoke to my friend waiting for me to speak… Anytime I spoke she started turning her head around pretending she heard something… Then said “dos u hear something?” While staring at me.. Anytime I spoke.. After we were already friends.. Did this the entire night… Then came w us to drake and stared at me the WHOLE SHOW.. Then any time I caught her eye out of my periphery she proceeded to alert her entire posse saying ” that ryn weaver girl is soooo obsessed with me” loud enough for my entire group of friends to hear… While talking why the WHOLE NIGHT loud enough for me to hear.. After pretending I didn’t even exist.

Pettier than me blowing my sister off at a family dinner after finding out she possessed 75% of my favorite clothing. But f**k, if it doesn’t hurt to be treated that way… it’s fucking irritating. You think you left that bullshit back in middle school and yet it still finds a way to find you in the most unexpected nooks and crannies of your life.

But as these things transpire for our voyeuristic pleasure, Twitter grants us the much unnecessary privilege of commenting on everything. Perry’s Katy Cats and Hillary supporters chimed in all at once to defend their favorite women. Annoyed with all the notifications in her mentions and new found attention, Weaver deleted most of her tweets in response. Katy Perry has made no comment at all about the alleged bullying incident.
