Pewdiepie Canceled After Saying ‘Death to All Jews’

Pewdiepie, the person who’s a millionaire from having people watch him play video games, has been removed from YouTube’s premium advertising service. Also, they canceled his reality show Scare Pewdiepie.

If you’re surprised that this YouTube pioneer would be removed since he has a mammoth following, you probably haven’t seen his recent videos. In addition to the video game commentary that made him famous, he now makes cute little videos that say “Death to all jews.”

Pewdiepie did a prank where he paid two Indian boys to make a video that had the phrase “Death to All Jews.” He claims it was all just a prank. “I was trying to show how crazy the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online,” said Pewdiepie on KTumblr. “I picked something that seemed absurd to me—That people on Fiverr would say anything for 5 dollars.” He goes on to say that he does not support hateful speech and is definitely not anti-Semitic.

Disney, who owns Maker Studios, did not like the joke either, so they also broke off their deal between Pewdiepie and Maker Studios.

This isn’t Pewdiepie’s first scandal. He threatened to cancel his account when he reached 50 million viewers, but it was all a shitty attention grabbing stunt. And he was briefly banned from Twitter when he “jokingly” tweeted that he joined ISIS.

Theres a good reason why schools in America have you banned on their networks. I also expect to be compensated for the data I wasted getting to your dump of a site.
