Selena Gomez Met a Bunch of Suicidal Kids in Rehab

Selena Gomez is starring in a new Netflix show called 13 Reasons Why about a teenager who commits suicide. During a panel in NYC, she talked about her own connection to the troubling subject matter, and even talked about her own stay in rehab.

In case you already forgot, not long ago the internet was buzzing with all kinds of rumors about what was going on with Selena Gomez. Was she sick? Did she have mental health issues? Was she a tragic party girl gone south of even Lindsay Lohan land?

From ET Online:

“I think that my [own] high school experience was amplified. I wouldn’t say it was worse, but it made it harder. To be frank with you, I actually was going through a really difficult time when they started production. I went away for 90 days, and I actually met a ton of kids in this place that were talking about issues that these characters are experiencing.”

Selena Gomez has been having a time. She went through lupus treatment while everyone kept harassing her about Justin Bieber, and basically everything else.

Hopefully, her show is good.
