Kanye West Told Kim Kardashian to Stop Wearing Her Trademark Giant Sunglasses

It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who gets fashion advice from my significant other. The advice I get is mainly along the lines of “you’re not wearing that, it’s not the 1990s anymore, it’s ridiculous.” Apparently, the fashion advice Kanye West gives Kim Kardashian is the exact opposite.

According to People, Kanye emailed Kim to tell her she needed to stop wearing big sunglasses because the tiny glasses people wore in the ‘90s were back in style.

“[Kanye] sent me a whole email like, ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore. It’s all about tiny little glasses.’” Kardashian said on Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, where she wore a skintight bodysuit, black leather mini skirt and tiny frames that she said were hand-selected by her husband. “He sent me like, millions of ’90s photos with tiny little glasses like this.”

As long as we’re bringing back things from the ‘90s, can we have flannel shirts and thermal underwear? I’ve been freezing since my girlfriend threw mine out. And maybe bring Frasier back, I could watch some new episodes of that.

Jennifer Aniston, however, is not a fan of the new look, which was last popular the last time she was relevant.

“I just think they’re ridiculous,” Jennifer Aniston told Glamour. “I’m not a fan of those little tiny spectacles; I’m a fan of classic sunglasses. That was very ’90s, wasn’t it? When you would see those little tiny frames, those were brought back from the John Lennon days. They’re always sort of regurgitating trends.”

You would think she’d want to bring back things we haven’t seen since the ‘90s. Like her career. Or her haircut. Or not having to tell Justin Theroux she thinks he’s better in bed than Brad Pitt. You know, the little things.
