Conor McGregor Does the Perp Walk

Yesterday, Conor McGregor went mental and tried to fight a UFC bus. He won, marking his first victory in over a year. But it was a victory with a price as he was arrested by the NYPD.

After spending a night at the precinct for misdemeanor assault and felony criminal mischief, McGregor was caught doing the perp walk this morning.

Along with the perp walk video, McGregor’s mugshot was released online.

It was a crazy scene in Brooklyn yesterday as McGregor and his crew were caught throwing dollies, chairs, and rails at a UFC van. The incident caused UFC to pull Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg from Saturday’s card due to injuries they suffered from broken glass. Artem Lobov, McGregor’s friend and training partner, was also pulled from the event for his involvement.

McGregor was looking to attack Khabib Nurmagomdeov, whom he’s had a longstanding rivalry with. Nurmagomedov and Lobov were involved in a confrontation earlier in the week, prompting the former UFC lightweight champion to hop on a plane and arrive in New York.

The Irish-born fighter is not being released, simply transported to court for arraignment.

UFC president Dana White didn’t commit to cutting McGregor over the incident. The UFC has cut fighters for missing weight, being upset over video game rights, unfunny tweets, and shoving referees in the past. But none of those fighters have made them $100 million in one night.

McGregor’s bail as been set at $50,000. He’ll be out by the time you read this.
