Colin Kaepernick Is a Curse Word in Madden 19

Colin Kaepernick is not in the game, so he’s not in the game.

Madden 19 is slated to release next week, but those with early access were able to play it on Thursday. The soundtrack features the track “Big Bank” by YG, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Nicki Minaj.

On the track, Sean raps, “You boys all cap, I’m more Colin Kaepernick.” I don’t know what that means, but it sounds good.

Except for the part where saying the name “Colin Kaepernick” gets you banned for life in the NFL.

YG and Big Sean were not pleased with this development.

EA Sports tried to cover their tracks with an apology.

Try apologizing for releasing the same game with fancier graphics for the last five years. I just want my running back to not run out of bounds on a swing pass.

Fans have reported that Kaepernick’s name was scrubbed from Madden 18 as well. Which is curious as Kaepernick was a playable character in last year’s game. However, if you signed him, your team was regulated to the CFL.

Kaepernick is currently pursuing a collusion case against the NFL, claiming owners have kept him out of the league due to his social activism.

With this new twist, the only satisfying conclusion is EA losing exclusive NFL rights and 2K taking the game back.

Anyone that plays video games more than 2 hrs a week is a pathetic loser. Anyone that cares about a former football players name being removed from one song on the soundtrack of one game has gone full supernova loser.
