God, look at that thing. It’s like he woke up and decided he’d rather have people think he’s a child molester than recognize him as Ted Cruz. Which is honestly not a bad calculation.

After asking who voted for Ted Cruz, Reznor says “He might be here tonight, he was bugging me to get on the guest list and I told him to f**k off. I put him on a few years ago and he fuckin’ drank all the beer and was a pain in the ass to be around.”
This tracks with the general opinion of Cruz, which is that he’s a piece of s**t. Former Senator Al Franken once said of Ted Cruz, “I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz.”
As musicians telling politicians to f**k off goes, this is almost as funny as Tom Morello telling Paul Ryan he was “the embodiment of the machine our music rages against.” And as far as stories about Ted Cruz being a piece of s**t no one likes goes, I’d say it ranks just below Cruz sucking up to Trump after Trump called his wife ugly and said his dad killed Kennedy.
