There was a minor scandal at the 2018 Fashion Awards when Meghan Markle went out in public in a way the Queen feels is unbecoming of the royal family. To give you an idea of how boring the royal family is, what Markle did that so scandalized the people of England was wear dark nail polish. Seriously.
The big news of the night, however, was the crowning of Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford, as Model of the Year 2018.
Gerber has over four million followers on Instagram despite just making her debut last year.
She kind of looks like Anne Hathaway if Anne Hathaway was a 13-year-old boy who never smiled.
I guess that’s the job, though. I’m sure we’ll see more of Gerber in the future. At just 17, she’s got a good 8 years ahead of her before photographers and designers decide she’s too old to be a model.
